This is my very first post on these forums.
I have used Linux Mint user on my desktop computers since 2014 and have been a registered user of the Mint forums since then.
I am looking to obtain an old Hp mini 210-1036VU laptop computer.
If there are any examples of machines this old running on Linux Lite, I would like to know about how they perform etc.
Any comments or suggestions welcome.
Jim.

annoying sounds |

Hi.
Long time Linux user. Just install Lite. I like it a lot. Fast, simple, good repository.
But for some reason, the speakers thump on random mouse gestures, scrolling on pages, etc. Thought at first in might be related to those annoying sounds that Ubuntu used to make, so I disabled all the settings under Lite Sounds. Didn't work.
Hate the sounds. I get rid of them how?
Thanks in advance.

Accidentality overwrote my .bashrc file. I have re-made some of it however not everything. I could not find a copy of the source bashrc file from linux lite.
Would anyone be able to link me, or paste below the text from their bashrc file.
Thanks!

Hey guys! I am having trouble with my sound on my Asus Vivobook E406SA on Linux Lite 6.0. More specifically, the sound card is not showing up on pavucontrol.
Here is my sound card: Intel Corporation Atom/Celeron/Pentium Processor x5-E8000/J3xxx/N3xxx Series High Definition Audio Controller [8086:2284] (rev 35)
Can someone help me fix this?
Thanks in advance!

UPDATE: I used sudo cp /var/lib/alsa/asound.state /var/lib/alsa/asound.state.old to fix it. However, it does not work after a restart, and I have to reapply it every time.
