Macbook Pro 2012 blank screen on boot up

I've recently revived our old macbook pro 2012, upgrade ram to 8gb and installed a 512gb ssd,
after installing linux lite on my machine, and booting it up I'm stuck on a blank screen with a loading icon at the bottom.

I've tried a hard reset but the issue still is still there... so after many tries I've switch to another lightweight Linux distro (linux mint mate)

i've tried Linux lite for a short while... (to be exact last night) and after booting up this afternoon (June 29) I'm stuck with a blank screen...
i've tried the ai service of this website, it says that try reinstalling the os... or with some bios setting thing... i forgot the full details.
what should i do then...

yes it is.

So are you adding any drivers at all? What is being added between the first successful boot and when the black screen appears?

i think i was trying to install the wifi driver and installing the other updates. i left it during lunch time, afterwards booting it up i'm just seeing black screen with loading animation icon on the middle (bottom of the screen)
