hello,  i posted this request already but maybe in the wrong place, i am new here and new to linux, i like it but 25 years of windows has softened my brain i think
when i minimise an internet page or program to the taskbar it and I can't find it so I have to open a new tab and find my page. When I shut down it says you are about to close six tabs etc... so they are there but not visible. I have linux lite on another  small laptop and i do not have this problem, maybe i did something wrong in the set up?
Can anybody help please?

Hover your mouse pointer over the task bar and use the scroll wheel to cycle through open windows. if you are minimizing Firefox here and speaking of Firefox tabs disappearing set preferences in Firefox to use the control+tab keystroke to cycle through tabs.
