LL3.2 doesn't detect S-Video output
#1
My LL3.2, doesn't detect my s-video output when I connect it to my tv.

It worked fine in 2.8 but in 3.2 it doesn't detect it.

Any fixes or solutions for this?

It appears that s-video is very picky about what kernel it wants to work with in this series. Try 4.9 if you're on 64bit or 4.8 if you're on 32bit.

More info - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sourc...ug/1608236

If you like, pick a confirmed working kernel from that thread eg. posts, #30 #45. #45 would most likely be my pick.

Keep in mind s-video will in time become obsolete and unlikely to be continually supported in Linux.

I see, yeah that link was for 64bit. Consider updating your Forum profile to show what you are running. This helps folks point you to the right stuff Wink
