Dual boot on MacBookPro?

I'd like to dual boot Linux Lite 3.2 on my new MacBookPro, which uses EFI (and doesn't seem to have a "legacy bios"). Has anyone done this before? Can anyone give me some advice on getting LL setup, I read in various posts that the EFI can cause install issues.

So far I have set the machine up using this tutorial:

but have yet to attempt a LL install. Just wanted to know if I was in for trouble or not...

I've no experience with this but if you do get it going, can you please post back with how you did it. Thank you.
