I installed Linux Lite about a year ago as a replacement for a Chromebook that went outdated. I've been hoping to attach it to the TV and use it just as a media center for Netflix and stuff. It works pretty well when you first boot it up, but when you leave it sitting for a few hours, it slows to a crawl and takes several minutes before responding well. Any thoughts on what's happening and how to resolve it?
I'm fairly incompetent when it comes to Linux, so I knew I was in over my head when I started this, but I'd hoped it would be relatively straightforward since I'm basically just using it as a web browser with an extension or two.
