Yes, it can be a bit of a wrench trying to break the bonds with Windows OS - I think many of us have been there... However, you don't need to be a purist: you can always keep Windows OS in a virtual machine for those little things that might be a bit too fiddly or not possible to do with linux - e.g. full software capabilities of a printer or scanner that is not fully supported by linux. It's true though, once you've got away from Windows as your main OS you'll begin to breathe ... Enjoy the journey elelme Mike
