This can be done in the 3.x series..
- If you don't currently have trashcan..
Menu > Settings > Desktop
Under ICONS tab > Default Icons click check box next to Trash Can then close.

I am liking the new look thou!!!

There are many differences between that, and what we will be offering. eg. no Network icon, Filesystem launches the root system / not all of your hard drives.

Sorry meaning the trashcan icon was accessible/could be added - if vera didn't have..

Since on the subject... Can the other "desktop" items i.e. Backgrounds be accessible from the New Lite-Desktop?
Background/Icons/Themes-Appearance items of similar interest...

Thanks [member=5414]firenice03[/member]  ! I tried out your suggestion and it worked perfectly! I now have a Trash Can on my LL 3.8 desktop. I'd never had to recover anything from it before so I hadn't been worried about not seeing it, but I sure was glad to empty what had become a very full trash can.

Very excited about 4.0 in general, it sounds like it'll be really interesting.
Using Linux Lite for everything now. I put it on my desktop and my laptop. Woohoo!

I've applied all the theming and installed all the packages and the Desktop boots to around 350mb. Not bad for x64. The VirtualBox addons add approx. 17mb to that, so if those weren't installed it would be even less.

A back-in-time question on that. I don't have any LL 2.x mahicne left but I remember having pop up message in the top right about v-box or vbox. Was that related to VirtualBox at the time?

Will the icon set be scalable? for a potential future dpi friendly XFCE.
Also, no bottom panel whisker menu in your video clip? Please remember the no0bs! Wink

It's a development machine. It's not fully LL featured, it's only for testing software at this stage.

Hi Jerry.  Are you looking at UEFI compatibility with 4.0?  I hope so.  Also, is there a chance that you might bring back the Lite Control Center?  It was great.  Thanks for the great distro.  Big Grin

We don't want people to accept UEFI as the norm. On the contrary, it's quite abnormal and unnecessary. Lite Control Center is long gone sorry. Smile
