Language support has been improved since Linux Lite 2.x.
Does your 7.6 system support the characters you need ?
Support for Linux Lite 2.x ended in 2019. Currently supported Linux Lite versions are 6.x (supported until April 2027) and 7.x (supported until April 2029).
However, both 6.x and 7.x are only in 64 bit so will not run on a 32 bit machine..
As far as I can tell, the NC10 dates back to 2008 and has a 32-bit processor.
