Donations could be easier

[member=7079]Searchernow[/member]  - From some previous experience in e-commerce I can attest that Stripe works conveniently both from the merchant's and from the shopper's point of view, BUT, I'm not certain whether Stripe allows payment for donation purposes. I looked at posteo.de, but as far as I can tell it's a paid email service, i.e. the payments are for a service, not as a donation. It may be worth looking into as an option, but I'm not sure what the rules are (does the payee need to be at a registered non-profit organisation, or what?) In general, with payment processors, for donations the situation may be different than for when people are paying for a specific product or service.
