I read the story on the BBC yesterday.
This follows many outbursts on some of the photographic websites I visit, where many members (who are often in their eighties) wake up in the morning with win 10 on there computer. Because they do not understand computers, they do not know they can roll back to their previous version.
In one case a "geek????" offered an eighty seven year old to roll back for a fee of around 180 us dollars, instead of geek read "con man".
I would guess the majority of windows users have no interest in learning whats under the bonnet and that plays right into Microsoft's hands.
i could go on for hoursĀ
but I think I might be preaching to the converted ;D
As an aside, I have shown my system running LL to a few people and all have been impressed but only a couple have taken the plunge.
Keith.
ps. Looking forward to 3.
