Printer doesn't stay enabled after reboot HP 3500
#4
Hi,

Do you normally have the printer switched on all the time.?
or do switch on printer, then PC.? or switch on PC then printer.?

I had a problem early on with an older HP3070A
It would sometimes not work, now I always switch printer on first, then bootup.

Something to do/check...
> Shutdown PC and turn off printer
> Switch on printer, then turn on PC/Laptop
> When booted open a terminal and do:

Code:
hp-check -t

It will produces masses of terminal output
What does it say at the end..??, this is my output

Code:
