Looks like I am in way over my head. I tried editing my new xorg.conf (your's) file with your first paste bin file.
Just got system back to where it's running again. :
I don't understand why the unedited xorg.conf file will not load the vesa driver. It just unloads openchrome and instead loads fbdev.
A new video card is several paychecks away for me, so I really would like to make this work.
BTW your work stand is very cool. Repurposing what you have laying around equals "Dollars Earned".
