Long-term support?
#1
Hi. How long will Linux Lite 3.0 be supported?

My favorite distro is Xubuntu, because I like XFCE and it is one of the Ubuntus, which means long-term support, i.e. predictability. I have tried Linux Lite 3.0 for a few weeks, and I like using it mainly because it is user friendly. I'd like to use it long-term, but will it be supported in the long term?

Unfortunately the baby Ubuntus like Xubuntu, Lubuntu, and Kubuntu have long term support of just 3 years.  Linux Lite has the same long term support of Ubuntu, which is 5 years from the original release date.
