Query regarding os installation - hangs in software updater screen

While installing os in my laptop via usb stick it get stuck on screen (software updater via third party /driver installation screen). installation goes smoothly from selecting language to wifi selection.In 3rd step it got stuck.I m installing fresh (no dual boot).Plz help regarding this issue.

Please help any1.... installation not further going to option where we can select hardisk to install os along with os or just linux...plz help

Why type of laptop make model?
Any more specifics?
- wanting to dual booting
- how are you setting up disk,  partitions
- options chose during install, along side or something else any other options.
