Networking between linux pcs
#1
Having set up a home network of 3 pc's all went well till I changed the 'distro' on one.It could see the others but not share
following the tutorial (Linux Lite.. very good) didn't seem to help on the other  machine . Having read loads of posts I came across a mention of 'Nitroshare' which I investigated .
Download a copy to each pc and run .. Instant network and share very easy and no in depth knowledge required.
Hope this will help others from tearing their hair out.

Update visited some friends with a windows and  a linux  Pcs .
Installed nitroshare on both.
Again instant network and I could join them with my laptop immediately associated  as I logged into the router for wifi internet.
no file settings to change and no compromise as the files are transferred to each desktop not reading into the file system

Hope this will assist
regards mike
