Hi, Lite Softwares provided with LL seems to very cool and useful. Can we have a default note taking app as a new 'Lite Software'. I think it's very essential for work and productivity.
Thanks.

There are so many really good ones! I use a little-known one called xournal that not only takes notes on my laptop at school, but can annotate pdfs and stuff.

Hello ayanb,
if you right click mouse on desktop and from the menu select - create document, it opens Leafpad, it can be used to take quick notes, in addition to other uses.
Another installed software is LibreOffice, by doing, Menu>Office>New Document

Thanks for replying. I know there is leafpad and Libreoffice writer. But I am talking about a dedicated note taking app. Such as evernote or Google Keep. They both don't have any native linux app. So a 'Lite Application' will be cool.

It's not a bad idea. The main criteria is that it would have to be cross platform, and non PPA.

Xournal is in Ubuntu repos too if anyone wants to try it. I use it at school.
