Manjaro #1 on DistroWatch

Wonder where we would rank for the distros that offer one DE and soon to be one arch (x64)?

Linux Lite from arch base ?
Which DE will it have ?
My first try with arch base was not so good but I was still very happy to have learn a little new things to me with Linux.
Will there be a forum section for it ?
If you decide to make a project based learning section, then I would also like to join in that section and the projects.

And now MX Linux is #1.  Its hits are nearly 2x as many as Linux Mint and nearly 3x as much as Ubuntu.  I'm not buying it.  Something is fishy.  The Distrowatch folks did an article on this as an explanation when Manjaro was #1.  Wish I could find that article.

Manjaro is a great Distro but as a rolling release the upgrades always seem to break it  :o

I don't take Distrowatch rankings very seriously, but if MX is on top, it certainly deserves to be!  It has a lot in common with Linux Lite, like the very cool newbie tools, the masterfully modified Xfce desktop, an MX USB maker that does what Systemback used to do in Linux Lite (and by the way I added systemback to LL 4.4), and a great forum.  Another advantage is the Debian Stable base, so updates are probably a lot less likely to cause problems.

The installer is frustrating to a newbie, perhaps, certainly to a technophobic user like me who felt incredibly brave just trying out Linux for the first time on a Live DVD!  It's Debian after all... but the installer is a lot easier now than it was only last version, but still scary compared with Ubuntu's awesome Ubiquity installer.

I actually use both distros.  But Linux Lite is the one I most often install for newcomers to Linux, since I find it unquestionably best for newbies.

Distro watch hits are not actual distro users for specific distros. Rankings do not even reflect actual popularity, just current interest and for the most part just passing interest... kind of an existentialist ranking system. Combined together Debian and Ubuntu will continue into the forseeable future to have the most actual users. What matters about distro watch is innovation announcements. It gives developers a chance to make users aware of their new creations.
[member=6925]Artim[/member] I've never tried MX but I'm assuming it's using a mdified Debian installer. Honestly the most convenient installer I've ever used is the Debian net-install ISO. Once you figure it out you'll wonder why one would ever want full system ISO installers.

Yes, a modified Debian installer.  I did a Debian Netinstall once too and it was fast and effortless, but still a lot more intimidating to me than the Ubu-based .iso installers.  I guess they only work on Ubu-based distros.  Although Manjero's looks a lot like it.

Distrowatch is based on clicks within their site.  I just don't see people organically clicking twice as much as Mint or three times as much as Ubuntu for MX.  I don't recall it ever really being in the top 5 and now it all of a sudden leaps giants like Mint and Ubuntu.

Manjaro installs with the 4.19.49 kernel which I left alone this time.
Linux Lite 4.4 64 bit. Is Faster than Manjaro KDE 64 bit. download size was 2.1 GB.
The new Manjaro is based off Ubuntu 18.04, Plasma desktop it has two different
Office Programs one is Linux the other is Microsoft office. Comes with the Default
Web Browser Firefox . It also has A program from Open SUSE. Manjaro is a very
Heavy Program the full program. Or can be installed as a minimal  OS - Office - File system - Web Browser
