Cant change style
#1
I have not noticed this until I started making wallpapers for the upcoming LL3.0.

It seems that the style options for LL2.8 desktop background won't change [centered, tiled, stretched, scaled and zoomed]

I select an option and it has no effect. Anyone else run into this problem? Is it simple to fix?

Thanks

All of the style options seem to work fine for me.  Have you installed anything out of the ordinary recently?

The usual stuff that I always use like clamTk, QT creator, CodeBlocks, Guake, xfce4-goodies The only difference is that this is LL 2.8. The same usual plugins in FF adblock, youtube podcaster, privacy badger and Video DownloadHelper.

It's basically a week old install.

Ok I looked into this a bit further and it seems that most of the pictures I have made in Gimp won't style change. At first I thought it was a file size that was over 700Kb but that is not the case then I thought it was the type of the file (bmp, jpeg, png) but that is not it either. I have however found a file I did make in Gimp a while back that does work so it must be the way I am exporting (saving the image) just not sure what the F I'm doing as usual.

So I'mma see what I can figure out and hopefully someone who has been through this could give me a courtesy slap to the back of the head!

Ok figured it out

I have my screen resolution at 1920 x 1080 and if the image is the same size it will not change the style- so problem solved as there was no problem. Haha
