I don't know why linux Lite is always associated as a beginner's distro. On my workstation I run Solus os on my other workstation Arco linux both rolling releases, one more stable than the other but that's a different discussion.
Since tonight I have installed linux lite on an older dell-inspiron laptop and for me this is a very workable system and indeed if you come across from windows you will feel right at home in it but the advanced user can really appreciate this system. But when are you an advanced user by the way?
The Windows 10 version that was on it had probably received 6 GB updates in recent months and was no longer workable for daily use, despite plugging in an SSD.
With the installation of linux Lite 5, this laptop can again stand its ground.
Nothing but credit to the developer and his team, linux Lite is what Xubuntu should be.
