upgrading to linux-image-4.4.0-116 kills installation

currently i have

i am running docker and if i run safe-upgrade machine hangs on reboot

Heya!
Two things.
First, I would recommend using the updates from the Linux Lite's "Lite Welcome" app. I had quite less trouble with it then using "standard updates"
Second, if the computer is still "stuck", hold shift key on boot and in the avanced option revert back to previous 4.4.0-113-generic Kernel. Had to do this on a few PCs.
