Hi all

Hey all

Been using LL for a few days, it's great.

No bloat, nice and smooth and not buggy.

Which is what i wanted after 14.04LTS and the not so good software centre.

I'll be staying with this distro. 8)

Hello!

Welcome to Linux Lite. May it be ideally suited to your needs.

Until I stumbled across Linux Lite, I didn't think a fast, lightweight, yet feature-rich OS was even POSSIBLE. It seems to me as if Ubuntu - and a lot of its flavors - just get more annoyingly slow and bloated with every new release.

Personally, I gave up on Ubuntu proper for Lubuntu right around the time that Canonical first released that sluggish pig of a desktop called Unity. Perfume it and tie pink ribbons on it if you will, but at the end of the day, it's still a pig...

Hi there.

I totally agree. I was actually quite offended that people were calling Ububtu "slick" and powerful -it's not slick, it's "SLOW"  -but this was my first flavour.

LL is just fine by me :-)

Rhythmnbox is misbehaving with LL however! Will cure it though, it won't save the songs i point it towards on the root drive are not there when i restart...ho hum!
