I'm using V.2.2, 32-bit on a Dell Optiplex GX520 with an Intel videocard. A few minutes ago I installed updates as instructed by the Muon updater. After that, Linux-Lite wouldn't boot completely: I get to the point where the screen blanks and I should get the pointer, followed by the desktop. All I get is a blank screen.
Is there a fix, or did I do something wrong? Linux-Lite is a fast, efficient system, and I'd like to continue using it.

Thanks for the replies. I see that the problem is in Grub. I bypassed the installed Grub and directed the boot from an old legacy Grub1 that I use. I didn't have the right parameters there.

I added "nomodeset" to the kernel line in Grub1 and the boot is now successful. Thanks again.
I won't use the Muon updater any more.

gold_finger, I don't have the log you want. For reasons other than the problem on this thread I reformatted the partition and reinstalled Linux Lite. The lesson learned is that I shouldn't get fancy when all I've got is a plain brain.
