VERY ODD install Issue
#1
I looked through the previous posts and couldn't find anything similar to my issue. I hope someone can help.
I am currently switching my daily driver from Windows due to not having a Windows 11 capable PC and have been unable to decide which distro I like best.
I am solely trying debian for now, as I have been playing with it on and off for years. I feel comfortable with it at the moment.

I have tried MOST debian distros and like some more than others, but seem to always come back to xubuntu. I had forgotten about lite completely.
However, when I try to install it on my PC, it just will not install. My PC has been xubuntu, sparky, mint, mx, peppermint and few others over the last few weeks and NONE of these have had any issues like I am getting with lite. My ISO of lite runs perfectly on my xubuntu in a VM, and it loads and runs fine on three other PC's I have tried. I know my hardware and the ISO are OK.
The  installer for lite runs OK, it shows the spinning circle as it loads in the background, and then I get a blank greyish screen and nothing further. It simply will not load the desktop as viewable. I have tried the ISO via Ventoy, as I have done with all the others that all install and run fine, and I have tried it burned to a USB on it's own. BOTH have the same result, it appears to be installing, then no display comes up. I am running an RTX 3060 12Gb video card and dual monitors via display port to HDMI output, but this is the only debian distro that has this issue, all the rest work as they should. During the time the installer is viewable, the spinning wheel is on BOTH monitors and at the correct resolution, so whatever display driver it's using works up to this point at least. I have waited for it to load something for as long as 20 minutes and no screen has ever come up. I am at a TOTAL loss now.
Does ANYONE have any idea what could be going wrong ?? If I try the installer version so it displays the install as it runs, the ONLY error it gets is the network, which has nothing to do with the display.  The ISO I'm using is v7.2. PLEASE HELP...this is very curious

And a side note for the devs, the 7.6 RC1 ISO doesn't work either, it only throws an error message asking for a missing kernel and doesn't get past the first boot screen, with ANY of the installer options. But it works FINE in a VM.....
