I'm in the US and noticed similar delays over last couple of days, but not quite as bad as described by Wirezfree.  Hasn't happen while making a post ... yet ... but have had slight delays on occasion when navigating site.  If I "stop" the loading process and hit "refresh" button in browser it seems to help.  Again, not as bad as describe for UK location, but definitely something noticeable just over the last few days.

Hi All,

I just clicked unread posts...
It took about @ 30secs for them to list
Then clicked the link to this post, @ 40secs

I will post this and edit with time taken.

Edit:
This post posted almost instantaneously, and re-opened very quickly..
However,
I tried opening 3 other other new posts, between 15~40secs to fully render

Well it seems to have come to life...

I had about a 20 min period 17:45 ~ 18:05 UK with just spinning wheel in the tab.
Then suddenly it came to life..
Will see with this post.
