Quote from: Jerry on June 02, 2024, 10:52:55 PMFYI - Firefox, Thunderbird are snaps, so in LL 7x I've added the Mozilla/Thunderbird PPA's, no need to get 'the latest' versions. Skype is now a snap too Lite Tweaks glitches - not concerned about those, unless someone would like to submit the changes Thanks! Yesterday though, the Mozilla PPA throwed an error. Had to disable it.I'll check again. (I'm on LL 6.6 now).

QuoteWhat's the issue in /etc/lsb-release ?The file on my install looks like this.Code: [Select]DISTRIB_ID=UbuntuDISTRIB_RELEASE=22.04DISTRIB_CODENAME=jammyDISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Linux Lite 7.0"System Restore Utility uses this to tag snapshots.Snapshots of LL7.0 systems get labelled as '22.04 Jammy'. Confused me on a multi-boot setup until you identified why it was happening. For Mintstick applicationsQuoteAfter installing python3-unidecode does it then work?Yes. Thank you.
What's the issue in /etc/lsb-release ?

Since Linux Lite 6.6 cannot be upgraded to 7What's the EOL for 6.6?
QuoteWe've always run the file that way (lsb), otherwise it can mess up the updates system. Fair enough. It didn't seem consistent with the pattern of previous releases I looked at - was expecting 24.04 and noble rather than 22.04 and jammy.

If you try to create the file it will tell you that it already exists. Once I did that the error stopped appearing in the terminal.TC
Quote/root/.local/share/Trash/files/Technically not an error. Always shows up when you run from terminal. To make it stop open Thunar as root and show hidden files. Once you've simply found the directory that way the message will just go away the next time you start tweaks. I'd guess it's a PATH that can't be added during install, or an installation artifact given the behavior.TC
/root/.local/share/Trash/files/
ls: cannot access '/root/.local/share/Trash/files/': No such file or directory
