Install Updates - unsupported version, windscribe and sur5r repo issues - Toyo - 10-18-2025
When I tried to install Linux lite updates a message showed up that says "Install Updates could not fetch the package cache information lists". Please help me in resolving the issue. Thanks. Below is the error log:

Support for Linux Lite release 5.x ended in April 2025.
Please consider upgrading or stop connecting it to the Internet.
Your update log show two specific problems.
1) The server name for 'windscribe' is not being translated to an Internet address. This means the server is unreachable. It may be a temporary issue, but it is possible the server has been decommissioned.
2) The software you have installed from 'sur5r' does not provide any resources for the version of Linux you are using.
If Lite version 5.x was supported, you'd need to remove the installed software from windscribe and sur5r and ensre their entries are removed from the repository lists.
