Before anyone can try to help, you will need to provide more information.
Open a terminal by pressing Ctrl Alt and T, then type or paste in this command followed by 'enter'

This will show some basic information about your system - post it back into the thread so we can see what it shows.

Also post the troubleshooting steps you've done already and what results you got.

We also need all other relevant information - for example
How is your system setup to generate sound ?
When did the problem start ?
What changes were made immediately before the problem started ?
etc.
