Network Tools - Wirezfree - 12-17-2014 Whilst helping somebody out with network related issues it reminded me. When ever I had issue on my own home network a very quick and easy tool was AngryIPScanner for Windows. It is also available for Linux: http://angryip.org/download/#linux Helps identifying IP Addresses, missing devices, devices not responding etc... Before I installed it, per the comments I did : Code: sudo apt-get install openjdk-7-jdk Dave Re: Network Tools - altman - 12-17-2014 Might be usefull ! Thanx for the thread . Keep them coming up . Re: Network Tools - Valtam - 12-17-2014 LL comes with openjdk-7-jdk, no need to instal anything extra ![]() Re: Network Tools - Wirezfree - 12-17-2014 Hi Jerry, O.K, I'm sure it installed on LL 2.0... Maybe I have become complacent, and didn't notice "Already Installed" ? altman... Yes it can be very useful... It's amazing how many IP Devices devices you amass If I have everything on, Fibre Modem/Router/PC's/Laptop/NAS/WiFi Printer/Smartphone/Tablet and a few VM's and the TV & Set-top Box I can have 14 things show up..
