Re: multiple inquiries - rokytnji - 01-25-2016 Quote:That is correct, we will no longer be distributing any official Google Chrome 32-bit This does not mean a can of beans to me. I could care less what downloads from Google Chrome site provides as I do not need them. Maybe others do. I do not how ever. That does not mean 32 bit chrome builds are not supported. Distros support their own builds. Not google. EDIT: MY BAD. I do own a Chromebook that runs ChromeOS. Seems like google keeps it updated just fine. So I guess I should care just a little bit. But if they PMEOFF. Seabios and Linux install. Here I come. Re: multiple inquiries - Valtam - 01-25-2016 Re. Chrome 32bit - https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/on-topic/so-what-are-we-going-to-do-about-this/msg20345/#msg20345 hope this settles it once and for all. Quote:...we will no longer be distributing any official Google Chrome 32-bit So, NO 32bit Chrome for anyone on Linux, the end, that is all ![]() Re: multiple inquiries - thera - 01-25-2016 ok i get it. no chrome 32 bit for any linux. what about 32 bit windows 7? what about chromium? as i am unsure how close it is to chrome? will these be safe after march? hate to sound thick, just a noob trying to understand. Re: multiple inquiries - newtusmaximus - 01-25-2016 Do I take it that Chromium 32 bit will also fall by the wayside? Re: multiple inquiries - torreydale - 01-25-2016 Chromium 32 bit will still be around for Linux. |
